Armaseam Zip-Up Roof is Fast-Track Answer

PROJECT NAME: Clapham High Street Apartments
LOCATION: Clapham High Street, London
PRODUCTS: Armaseam
CONTRACTOR: Mansell Plc

The Armaseam 400 mm zinc panels were pre-curved to a radius of 20 metres and given a 'quartz-weathered' finish to create the distinctive roof. The 'double sandwich' construction technique eliminated the need for a timber framework and plydeck support - reducing costs and construction times significantly.

Armaseam is a versatile standing seam metal roofing system that forms a totally weathertight skin. Simple to install without penetrative fixings, the roof is virtually maintenance free and provides excellent performance for the life of the building.

Panels are available in standard widths of 300 mm and 400 mm in a wide choice of metals, finishes and colours.

The main contractor was Mansell plc, the roofing contractor was TR Freeman Ltd.
